Your Support Matters: Donating to Home County

hand holding balloons that spell out Donate!

Many are surprised to learn that Home County is a registered charity and not-for-profit that accepts donations, not just at the festival, but year round.

In fact, donations of $20 or more will be issued a tax receipt (learn more on our donation page).

For those who are considering supporting Home County, as well as those who regularly give, it is important to know that when you donate to Home County, you are aligning your values with a socially and environmentally responsible organization that is providing no-charge access to world-class arts and music to patrons of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

Home County gratefully accepts admissions-by-donation, and we want to personally thank all those who have contributed, or plan to contribute in the future.

For those who may be unfamiliar, here is a brief roundup of what makes our festival special:

Reach and Impact

Home County Music & Art Festival prides itself on offering access to the enrichment of arts and music to over 55,000 festival-goers of all socioeconomic backgrounds from London, Huron, Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin Counties and beyond.

Diverse Representation and Inclusion

Our mandate supports the presentation of diverse musical presentation.  While we primarily present folk-roots, our programming includes a wide diversity of genres and sounds, including rock, soul, reggae, Americana and more.  We also place a special importance on diversity in all of its forms, as we believe it is important for citizens to see representation of those they identify with, as well as those who broaden their viewpoints.

Support for Unique, Handmade Art and Craft Businesses

Our arts and craft vendors are selected through a jurying process.  Through Home County, those who produce high-calibre, original works are provided with a unique avenue to grow and support their business.  Festival attendees are provided with an opportunity to enjoy incredible art, connect directly with the artist/crafter, support independent business and acquire one-of-a-kind items.

Exposure to Canadian Music from National, Provincial and Local Levels

Our musical programming also places emphasis on presenting and supporting Canadian top emerging and established musicians from all reaches of Canada, but especially from a local level.
