We'll miss these folks!

Volunteers: A gift to the community image

Liz Hicks

Liz Hicks: In addition to her 3 years as an active and engaging member of our Board, Liz has been the Art and Crafts Coordinator for the Festival as well as organizing and running the annual Art and Craft Sale and Exhibit.

She is smart, well-organized and insightful and her work with the Board and on several of its committees over the last 3 years has been greatly appreciated. Liz’s initiative, hard work and infectious enthusiasm will be missed.

Chuck Reid

Chuck Reid: Chuck is completing his third and final term as a Director on the Home County Board which makes him, at nine years, one of the longest serving Board members in Home County’s history.  In addition to being a Director and serving on many Committees, Chuck has also been the Donation Services Coordinator for the Festival organizing the “Admission by Donation” process throughout the weekend. He will continue in this role but his thoughtful and wise participation at our Board table will be missed.

Deb Wiltshire

Deb Wiltshire:  Deb has served on the Home County Board for six years and has made enormous contributions.  She has spearheaded the move to make our Board a better governing body, she has chaired the committee overseeing the complete Festival operations and she has served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Festival.

In addition, for the last two years, Deb has served as the Board Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee. Her years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and her wisdom and thoroughness have been of significant value in making the Home County Folk League a better organization.  She will be continuing to work with us as the Chair of the Planning & Governance Committee and for that we are very grateful.

Jennifer Quick

Jennifer Quick:  In the two years that Jennifer has served on the Board for the Home County Folk League, she has made tremendous contributions to the governance of the League.  Her background as a lawyer has proven to be invaluable as she has guided us through  governance policies, by-laws and contractual reviews.  We are most grateful to her for her wisdom and hard work and wish her well in her new ventures.
