Coming Home: 2019 Spring Show and Sale

A poster for Coming Home Spring show and sale

Last year the Home County Folk League held a week-long art show event at the TAP formerly The Arts Project Gallery on Dundas Street.  It was a wonderful success and proved that the public was attracted to an art show and sale based on the reputation of Home County juried artists.   This year a 2-day event renamed COMING HOME Spring Art and Craft Show and Exhibit and Sale will be held on March 29, 30, 2019 at First- St. Andrews United Church. I am pleased to invite you to join us for 2 days of art, craft and music in a new venue.

  • First St. Andrews United Church will provide wonderful, accessible spaces in their chapel, atrium and sunroom.  Long known as a venue for community musical performance, FSA has now designed their chapel to accommodate visual art displays. The warm wood walls of the chapel have cables installed for hanging fine art, numerous tables for product displays and lovely windows in the atrium and sun room to flood those spaces with natural light.  (I have attended events here over the past 2 years and am excited that it offers exactly what we are looking for.)

  • The location is central, close to downtown but not in the midst of the construction zone.

  • The vendors will offer a diverse spectrum of handcrafted products including fine art, photography, jewellery, glass, metal, wood, pottery and much more.

  • Music by local, musicians, will enhance the experience and refreshments and door prizes will make this an event to remember.
