Home County welcomes Michael Del Vecchio to the Board of Directors.  Michael has been actively involved in the London music community as a musician, promoter, and artist manager for the past six years.

Both take place on Saturday, November 3 and both feature London musician Marty Kolls.

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Tom Siess. Tom was a significant force in the London music scene for many years.

 In the early seventies, he was one of the founders of the Cuckoo’s Nest Folk Club and helped to run it for many years. In 1978 he joined the Board of our festival, then called the Home County Folk Festival, and the next year he became the Board Chair. As Home County fans have come to know, the festival is as much about the crafters and artisans as the music!  On Saturday, July 21, the second night of the festival, some of our craft vendors got to take a bow and feel the applause during the Home County Craft Awards!

We had a few challenges from Mother Nature but the show went on, and wonderfully well at that.

The music was great, our vendors were the finest as always and the smells of great food wafted through Victoria Park. Highlights were plenty and as usual, everyone discovered a number of new favourites to add to their music collection.

We also saw the departure of our Artistic Director, Darin Addison and welcomed his successor Tim Fraser to our ranks.
