Experience Our 2011 Retro Revolution

Home County Folk Festival, July 15 – 17, 2011 presents its 38th festival in downtown London’s beautiful Victoria Park. The festival site is wheelchair accessible and close to Richmond Row shopping and downtown hotels. This ‘admission by donation’ event features 25 of Canada’s best roots, traditional and indie folk/pop acts.

The festival theme this year is ‘Retro Revolution’. This concept is meant to celebrate our heritage in new contexts and honour folk traditions in a contemporary setting. We continue to bring attention to current trends in the Canadian indie/roots scene by showcasing established artists, and younger artists who have grown up influenced by Canadian folk icons and traditional genres such as blues, bluegrass, Celtic and country.
